The HTML Bible was created by using Bible text from the Berean Standard Bible website and Open Bible.

A Python programming language script was written and used with the text file to create 1,189 chapter files and an index file as web pages (HTML files).

Each chapter of the Bible is presented as one HTML file.

Each chapter has links to the previous chapter, the next chapter and the index file.

This collection of files can be put in any folder on your computer.

You then only need a browser to read the Bible.

To use the Bible:

1. Create a folder on your computer.

2. Download the zip file of the Bible version that you want.

3. Copy the downloaded zip file to the folder you created.

4. Unzip/uncompress/extract the contents of the file.
       You should now have another folder containing the chapter pages (and a few other files).

    This allows you to have different Bible versions in the same main folder, each with its own subfolder.

5. Open this new subfolder and double-click '_index.html' to view the index file.
